Before Creation, Be For Creation

They call him second Adam or last 

But he was first, long before the start

In the beginning was he - the word

Existing far ahead of the world 

Not only existed but already slain 

So when sin came he was unstained 

Because he needed to come again

To buy back the world to God's lane 

Through him was the world made

With him - word - foundation was laid 

Day one he brought light, clarity 

Day two came sky and seas in parity

On the third came land and plants 

Fourth day, he birthed daylight and nights

Everything a pleasing art of creation 

God saw perfection in progression  

Flying birds and swimming fishes on five

On sixth, livestock and wilds came alive 

To wrap up the week, he called for hands 

Cocreating was needed for mankind 

The word would not stop at creation

Resounding on and on for revelation 

Instruction to mankind to bear fruit 

While the word remains our root
