Anno Domini

A.D the suffix that comes after every year since the last two thousand and twenty three years, stands for Anno Domini, which means in the year of the Lord. 

It was the change in calendar to count years since Jesus was born. 

This morning A.D is getting my attention beyond just the letters behind the numbers. I see them now as a description of our expectation as children of God, the year and every indeed is the year of the Lord. 

So we continually turn it to God, and wait on him for direction in our every move. The interesting thing is that Lord also means dominion, being in charge, being in control. 

So when you let the Lord God Almighty in heaven take dominion over your life, you also find yourself dominating your sphere, territory and the globe.
